the origin story
a spreadsheet of hopeful guesses had to go.
Thornwood started after one content calendar too many turned out to be a tidy grid of wishful thinking — publish dates attached to topics nobody had checked anyone was searching for. So we flipped it: find the search first, interview the person who actually built the product, then write.
We stayed small on purpose. One editor owns your account end to end, reads your product docs on a Tuesday, and still remembers your competitor's weak comparison page on a Friday. No account-manager relay race, no ghostwriting pool rotating through your voice.
